Web design for Gilberto Barburini

A living archive for the works of Gilberto Barburini.

A digital archive designed to document the paintings and sculptures of the artist: commissioned by Carla Papucci to keep her husband’s memory alive, the site turns Gilberto Barburini’s collection into a visual experience to explore.

The project aimed to meet the structural requirements – extensive texts, galleries and category filters – while combining them with a modern, impactful interface to keep users engaged. Through the use of GSAP and custom code, this was achieved with dynamic carousels, smooth transitions and interactive elements.
