Associazione Polaris, Mutat Museum
An accessible website for the users of Mutat, the tactile museum for everyone.
Design and development of the website for the Polaris association of San Vito al Tagliamento and its Tactile Museum (MUTAT), with a focus on accessibility for visually impaired and blind users. The site complies with WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines: semantic HTML5 structure, verified color contrasts, full keyboard navigation and tested compatibility with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver). Descriptive alternative texts for every visual element, a consistent heading hierarchy and no elements that could cause disorientation during navigation. Accessibility was not an additional requirement – it was the design constraint from which every decision started.
